8 hours per week to be worked flexibly, including evenings and
weekends work where necessary.
45 hours per annum (inc Bank/Public Holidays).
2 year fixed term until 31 March 2021 (with the possibility of renewal at the end of the term) subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
£10 per hour.
Travel to Birmingham twice yearly for Committee meetings, plus travel to Family Events, as necessary.
A laptop and mobile telephone will be provided if necessary as well as basic travel and other expenses.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Primarily responsible for all administrative duties, including enquiries by post, email, telephone and social media), supporting the Committee with organising Family Events, identifying potential sources of Grants, and maintaining the charity’s policies.
Ensure all our key Policies are updated to comply with the latest Charity Commission guidelines, and regularly review as necessary.
To work closely with the Committee Members.
To organise an Annual Family Event, with support from other members of the committee.
To identify other means of income such as grant giving bodies who would be sympathetic to our aims.
Primarily being responsible for all administrative duties including enquiries by post, email and telephone.
Undertake a review of current policies, and update as necessary.
Administer own workload, which includes hours and deadlines.
Maintain a good knowledge of national and local initiatives which are of benefit to the RTS Support Group UK.
Attend twice yearly Committee meetings and twice yearly video conferences.
Carry out any other RTS Support Group UK duties set by the Committee.
