This year the Spring Event popped up in Cardiff. The day ran exactly to schedule (more or less!), well done and thanks to all those who made it all possible.
Chris Oliver’s team gave some feedback on recent studies and invited more participation in others.
If you didn’t attend the team are sending us the slides of their presentation and I’ll post them as soon as I can.
Other speakers included information on trusts and wills and changes to the Special Educational Needs provision, again if you want further information we can signpost you in the right direction.
The AGM went to plan and finished on time, well done Andrea!
Andrea Simpson our new chair gave a great account of accounts, fundraising and many thanks for our retiring chair John Peat for his many years of service. Details can be found in the AGM minutes.
Everyone enjoyed a leisurely lunch -following face painting, craft and children’s entertainment in the ‘play room’.
Chris Oliver’s team are updating and adding to their work with siblings and several ‘sibs’ enjoyed contributing to this opportunity to share their unique views.
After the drawing of the raffle we had a visit from the Easter Bunny! It’s a long way to Cardiff!!
The children loved their goody bags and many families took advantage of the free ‘pro’ photo opportunities.
Several families took advantage of the swimming pool before reconvening to enjoy the evening meal, then it was time for the excellent performers of RTS Has Talent to entertain us before dancing the night away to the disco.
